Jingle Bells

My neighbour's clematis has been threading itself through my holly tree year by year and it has now reached a point where I can see it close up. I checked the leaves too and found out it is called Jingle Bells. It is an evergreen (I had no idea that clematis could be deciduous or evergreen). 
I hope people don't think this makes me fixated on Christmas.
