Abbey Strand

This is another one of the near neighbours to the Scottish Parliament. It stands at the bottom of the Royal Mile in Abbey Strand and is one of the buildings in front of the palace of Holyroodhouse.

Unfortunately I have no idea what it is called or what it is used for. Anybody know?
