Compton Verney
With the forecast for a lovely sunny day we decided to go to Compton Verney in Warwickshire. The art gallery is closed for the winter, but on weekends in February has open days of the grounds for members only.
We set off in sunshine, but for most of the journey it clouded over. We had timed it perfectly though: the clouds parted just as we arrived. The grounds were looking delightful in the sunshine, with plenty of snowdrops and winter aconites in flower.
For my blip I have chosen this view across the lake towards the house. My previous blip from Compton Verney was on 19th August when we saw a Spitfire fly past.
