Peony

This is another variety of peony in our garden, and I notice the red one is almost out too.  The blousey peach/apricot coloured one (blipped a few times in previous weeks) is always the first and possibly the most flamboyant.  Again, I used my Canon 70-200 lens...best get the Sony out again, or it may start sulking.
The sun has shone and its been most welcomed.  
I've finished the book "Daring to Drive" showcasing the terrible suppression of females in Saudi Arabia.  I'm pleased I have read it, it left me pondering so much and feeling thankful for what I have got.
Enjoyed a visit from a friend this afternoon, so nice to sit and chat without any pressures.
