Better With Sugar

Buying ingredients online last week I had misjudged the size of the cartons of cream I had ordered and it wasn't the long-life type. So that it wasn't wasted I set about to make another batch of ice cream, this time it's going to be a raspberry ripple.

Tonight I got some frozen raspberries out of the freezer, sprinkled them with sugar and stewed them. (No, I didn't have to make a drama out of it by sprinkling the sugar from a great height while the raspberries were still on the scales but, you know me!)
