Little helicopters.

Still pretty murky when we set off for our walk this morning. At the quarry  we met a lovely young woman and her three legged boxer dog, by the time we left them the sun had come out.

Walking around looking for something to blip, my attention was drawn to this Ash tree where you can see next years emerging leaf buds and these helicopter seeds. Sadly the ash trees are suffering from a deadly disease called Ash dieback and many thousands of trees will be lost.

This afternoon I had a bit of a potter and Mr PC topped up water in the pond.
