Drayton to Hopwas

After a really quite rubbish day yesterday I had luckily planned a good paddle trip for today. Properly distanced but an hour and a half of effort plus conversation and 8 miles in the bag. Then an equally distanced meet up with my brother who I haven’t seen for a couple of months - nice lunch and a coffee ambling around Sutton Park.
I even managed to dash out for half an hour with Dog2 before it got dark and I needed to retrieve Daughter No.3 from school. The whole Upper Sixth, 30 Lower Sixth, most of the Upper Fifth and 50 or so Year 8s are currently isolating. The Head must be absolutely frantic.
