Tile tuesday

Busy start to the day as the sweep came to clean the chimneys at 8 this morning.  Glad he has done that.  I then went to pick up our click and collect groceries.  Surprised at how the world seems to be carrying on outside of our four walls.  Having said that the supermarket was particularly quiet.  Filled up with fuel and got to the post office.  That is me now.. not going anywhere except dog walking for another couple of weeks.  
Glad I got home before 4 pallettes of slate were delivered for the neighbours new roof.  Needless to say the builders are not here today so the pallettes are lying on the lane practically blocking the entrance... what with that and a skip the area outside our house is pretty tight these days.  Really hope they will be moved quickly as often we need to reverse out and they are making the lane narrow.... harrumph! 
I have always rather wanted to make a sculpture with slates... I love the look of them when they are laid one on top of another
