Gathering #2

A frosty morning and our pond was frozen, but the other pond was not. The swans had noticed that, and there were 30 of them! I haven't seen that many in years around here. Could not fit them all in one shot, as some were quite far from the others.

I took the main blip and the first two extras at about quarter to ten. Checked up on them at 4:30 pm and they were still there, or at least most of them. Mist made it hard to count the ones that were further away, and some may have been in a blind spot.

The temperature didn't rise higher than +1°C all day, so this was the coldest day in about seven months, but a beautiful day.
