Ladybirds are commonly found in shrubs, trees or grass, but this enterprising insect was high up on our kitchen wall. It had probably emerged from allotment produce kept near the door.
I saved it from a spider's web, but it ungraciously refused to pose, scuttling off as quick as it could.
There are 46 different U.K types and I've no idea which one this is. My Ladybird books are on loan.
