Sun and mist

Another early walk on an incredibly beautiful morning.  The sun rose in a bloom of mist.  I suppose the effect must be created by light refracting off minute beads of moisture, but you can see here how soft and velvety it was.

It didn't last long, but long enough.  This is one of the New Forest ponies down by the river.

Later I took Hazel for a short walk, since when I have been paying bills, shopping on line and generally making an effort to be efficient.  Happy days  ;-D
