Voice - Vouaïe Exhibition

This morning we had a guided tour of this exhibition featuring Guernesiais speakers. Guernesiais is a Norman language and is very different to “proper” French. Some of our guides were not even aware of how to pronounce the word Guernesiais. It sounds nothing like Guernsey; in fact a bit like that ‘other’ island Jersey
