Waiting

We spent a good part of the morning watching hippos doing their thing and being educated about the multitude of bird species around the dam. This fellow waited patiently until the time was just right to launch himself towards the water. I could have watched him for hours but we headed off for lunch in White River as our chosen restaurant in Hazyview is closed on Mondays.

The rest of the day was spent chilling in and around the pool and the occasional cold beer in hand.

Home again tomorrow. We are looking forward to some cooler weather.
