The tree of lockdown
I made my neighbour an edible birthday card, as her birthday is on 11th November. Another lockdown non-event. Seeing as my neighbour has been to art college and is a perfectionist, I doubt she will be impressed by my primary-school efforts.
Another day in nursery was followed by a trip to the big supermarket near work. Had been worried about the return of lockdown queueing, but in fact the car park was almost empty and there is a traffic lights system in operation now. I did not have to queue to pay, either.
Walked home, all uphill, a little donkey burdened by my heavy load, and since then have been relaxing over the massive jigsaw and trying to get some more orders for my card business. By the way, if a blipper called (real name) Zoe placed an order on my website, thank you very much! It was a welcome surprise.
Good news about the vaccine: it appears that the Pfizer-Biontech vaccine against CoVid-19 may be 90% effective. Some return to normality may be possible, sooner or later..
