The Problem with the Picts

Is that so many of their symbol stones are badly weathered. After a quest spanning 2 days we located this example set into a dyke at Finlarig. We expected to see an incised crescent and V rod above a notched rectangle - all we could make out was a vague vertical scratch. But the hunt was fun. An example of 'The journey not the arrival matters'.
