Underneath the arches

The arch in this landscape is formed by nothing more concrete than trees, either side of this quiet road. I thought it would do nicely in mono for the 'shape and form in landscape: leading lines' challenge this Mono-Monday (enhanced on Photoshop using 'poster edges'). It's been a pretty grey day, weather-wise, but brighter indoors. Little Miss B is much, much better and back to her old self. Looked after her for much of today and there were no whinges and clingy requests for her mama. We took over at 7am-ish as our daughter had been up with her since 4am. Baby B finally fell asleep at nearly 1pm - nine hours on the go! Even so, no tears; she simply climbed up on to the sofa, leaned against me and, with my arm round her, went to sleep. So sweet!

Sorry, I'm probably turning into a really boring granny, oversharing, but it's so lovely spending time with the little love.
