A female Rebus

After a routine morning I spent the entire afternoon reading. I am so pleased to have discovered Gillian Galbraith and the fictional Edinburgh based DS Alice Rice. A sort of alternative Rebus, albeit a less complex character. I like that she has a collie who features from time to time usually exercising boisterously in the Meadows.
There seems to be a lot of excitement about the vaccine development announced today. As ever the FM was measured and cautious, and no analogies about bugles , goal keepers, swallows and trains, and seats on trains -that won’t bother Piers Corbyn of course.
It has been a challenge for Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board to manage the flu jab this year, weekend clinics have been introduced, never mind managing this.
