Up & Down

It's been a funny old day - weather wise.
There was some blue skies - and fog which went from 'barely there' to 'where the hell is the car bonnet?' ........ and back again (but without the blue skies) ............ all day.

The picture is of The 5 Sisters .......... piles of shale spoil from the oil industry. I have never seen them with the tops missing before and within a couple of minutes they had gone completely.

There was a trip to the dentist for SWMBO and I. Nothing required at the moment (although they are pushing 'manual' tartar removal (no water jets) and x-rays.
Anything to try and claw back some of the income they have lost I guess - although there did seem to be a fair bit of activity in the 'Private' section of the building.

We got our weekly visit from the monsters after school. I am sure it is just to get a sugar top up from the sweets ... SWMBO makes up small boxes of mixed sweets - identical (no arguments) and only 12 items in  each  (chocolate buttons, smarties, jelly tots - that sort of size).
