Old friend

We’re back in our previous lockdown routine of going for a lunchtime walk. Today we did five miles over Iron Hill and Stanley Common. It still feels strange walking on the hill without the dogs but there are plenty of old friends there, including this tree which I’ve always liked.

Just watched the Downing Street press conference. I don’t think I’ve ever heard so many analogies in such a short time! The news of the vaccine, though, is very promising and, coupled with the US election result at the weekend, things seem quite a bit brighter today.
