All quiet ...

Like everything else affected by Covid in 2020, the act of remembrance was low key and poignant. At least today there was good news on the vaccine front, which might mean a better chance of getting back to semi-normality in ‘21.

I like the personal touches in this collection, particularly the painted stones.

Very warm today for November, I got hot under the collar on my mandatory walk. 

Finally finished reading Simon Scharma’s History of the Jews (part 1). He’s a clever fella and I love seeing him live but this was hard going. It would probably make a great movie in the 1950s Hollywood style. Eye opening in parts, impenetrable in others.

Have now moved on to Ben Rhodes insider account of the Obama years, The World As It Is. Real life West Wing stuff, direct and gripping. A good one to read after recent events stateside.

Feeling wiped out today. Did a lot in terms of domestics and walks, but god it was hard work.
