Monks and a knight in a wood

The knight in this picture looks rather like a young Guillot (the villain of The book of the duchess) and the monk on the ground ressembles Michael (the hero).

However, unlike the series of numbered pictures from the novel that we blipped between 7th October and 2nd November 2020 with Lorna's own comments on her art work, we found this picture loose in the archive, and could not match the scene in the illustration to the plot of the story.

For this reason we are treating it as a one-off picture to blip separately in Lorna's journal.
