Energy policies

It’s a sad day when the most interesting thing you can find to photograph is your own cooktop. This came about because I have been spending many hours trying to work out which gas and electricity plans will give us the best deal. That’s about as boring as the photo.
 
On a loftier plane, an interesting webinar today on the effect a Biden presidency may have on energy and climate change policy here in Australia. We are among the few countries like us that have not yet committed to zero net emissions by 2050. With the USA under President Elect Biden set to adopt more ambitious climate policies, it will surely be harder for us to continue to lag behind. Hopefully the first of many positive outcomes.
