Lest we forget

An unusual Remembrance Sunday due to pandemic restrictions.
We watched the service on TV and observed the silence, as usual, but we did not take part in the doorstep silence. 
We prefer to sit in silence with our own thoughts rather than join people on the street.
I hope some people did the doorstep silence though, if that was what they preferred.
We've not been able to buy poppies or poppy badges like we usually do so I bought a few window stickers and clings which had a donation to The British Legion included in the prices.
Today I saw a few flags out with similar design to our stickers - I'd have liked one of those - maybe next year - if we are still here!
