Station of the cross #14 - Bye bye Pet

Our PET CT scanner has left the building.
After 12 years of mostly good and mostly loyal service. 
It had to be done at the weekend as the truck used to load the larger components (the CT ring is about 2,000 kg) blocked the access road to the main entrance to the Repair Factory. 
The team of three guys who dismantled, packed and removed it were impressive. 

I gave the PET a last emotional pat and off it went. 

I hope that the guys who will come and install its replacement in two weeks' time will be equally impressive.
