Making a Wish

This evening we visited the National Colonial Farm at Piscataway Park. It is a jewel of a park located across the Potomac River from Mount Vernon, the home of our first president. We watched the sunset behind the old plantation home, alongside the fishermen on the pier. Many were talking about the election results that were today's news. It seemed like the perfect place to end the day.
