Better day than expected.

Always a nice thing to say on a Monday!

The VAT visit went relatively smoothly; embarrassed to say it was one of my errors that had triggered HMRC's attention; by dating something 2013 instead of 2012 in a post-Christmas/New Year haze chaos almost ensued. You can bet I'll be triple-checking it next year!

Luckily the man was a dog-lover (he has 3 Golden Retrievers, 1 Labrador and a St Bernard so was oblivious to Stella's drooling attention!) and very friendly too so the time didn't drag as stressfully as it can do on these occasions.

This all meant a very late lunch and Stella missing out on our usual morning walk to the shop and post office with Granny so I had a quick sandwich and took her to the park for a treat.

We found that this geocache had been replaced to a new location recently and ended up being first to find it in it's new placing so we went back to the office very happy girls indeed :)

Drove home under a very pretty pink sky which finished the day off nicely too.

Lent lunch was a turkey sarnie; tea is chicken in barbecue sauce accompanied by colcannon.
