Love at first Click

I do love my new camera.  I don';t know what possessed me to imagine that I could manage with a mirrorless without a viewfinder.  I took this image from the door which is some metres away from the birds (native crested pigeons, by the way).

I've had to crop in hard, but the detail is all there, and the colours on the wings caught the sun beautifully.

I will still use the mirrorless, but in situations where it shines - landscapes and stuff like that.

Even though the 6D II is heavy, that doesn't matter.  I will use the monopod when I have to.
