Remains of the day

I just managed a short circuit around Pollok Park before dusk when this was taken. It was cold and still with a hint of the early morning mist hovering.
A practical sort of day including the satisfying activity of defrosting the fridge, the ice came off in huge chunks making the task a faster than usual one. We really need a new one, it’s already starting to produce frost.
Very brief visit from #1 son who arrived in a fetching floral mask to borrow R’s drill, again. The missing bits that R and I spent a lot time looking for predictably turned up at theirs. Their bikes are now installed on a rack in the hallway. Hopefully it will stay up longer than the coat pegs.
RIP a Jonathan Sacks, his Dignity of Difference changed the way I thought about globalisation.
