Roslin Glen

After the usual Saturday chores I took Max on a bike ride to Roslin. The plan was to get back to cliff I took photos of during the summer.Usually we come from Loanhead along the river. This time we went straight to Roslin and approached the glen from the other end of our standard walk. We found some lovely ancient yew tree clinging onto a wall (see extra). I do wonder what this place would have been like a 100 years ago or so. Was it as wild or well kept? Anyway, we had a lovely time. Just a shame we couldn't stay for a drink and some chips in the Hotel.
