Today's the day ………………………. to be out of my depth

This boat was moored on the River Dee, upstream of the road bridge that carries the A755 across the river. 

There's not a lot of headroom under that bridge - so there's no way the boat arrived in that position with its mast up.  Of course, I'm assuming that it sailed up the Dee Estuary from the Solway Firth - but maybe it was here already and it was just launched into the river from the bank.  Maybe that mast collapses down and folds away?   

You can probably tell that my knowledge of things nautical is sparse - to put it mildly.  Thankfully, I'm pretty sure that there will be someone out there in Blipland who can throw me a lifeline …………………………?
