The North Sea

Well, you would be forgiven for mistaking it as that today.

Grey and murky, but not much rain. The storm is passing and normal service should be resumed soon.

On this day eight years ago, I was offered a teaching job in Spain. I was soon to swap my view of the real North Sea for one of the Mediterranean.

My new adventure was about to begin and the rest, as they say, is history.
