Blackballed

Loved these sculptures at Montalto Estate! I had another photo of them with the boathouse in the back, but somehow I preferred this one, focussed on the two balls.

I met my pal the Veep today; hadn’t seen her for ages and even missed her birthday in September, so she had a very belated gift today. She was feeling quite smug herself as she gave me a birthday present over two weeks early!

The drive down to Montalto was gorgeous, such a beautiful day, although I forgot that the traffic would be horrendous getting through the bottlenecks of two (surprisingly popular) market towns en route.

I’m pleased to get a blip today, though, as I haven’t been further than Tesco for ages!
