Beakensdyk Bakkeveen

It's the weekend, so I'm doing the only sensible thing: get up at 5.30 for a sunrise shoot! Yesterday, Herman and I agreed to meet up at the Beakensdyk in Bakkeveen. I've been here before in 2012 and in 2017. This place can really be magical and today was no exception. Even though the conditions were not as we had hoped, around sunrise there was some low mist over the water and without any wind reflections were just perfect. What a great way to start the weekend! Thanks again Herman for joining. This is what we need to get this Covid business out of our heads!
