Marking A Sad Event

Today we walked a section of the canal that is the site of one of the many wartime crashes in the area. Laid flowers and thanked those that gave their  lives for our freedom, it was very foggy this morning with made our little visit a rather more somber than usual. Hopefully the memorial will receive a fresh Poppy Wreath tomorrow or on the 11th.
