Pilgrims Way at Thurnham
Firstly thank you for all the super comments on my blips for the past few days. As always, they are a pleasure to read and most uplifting.
Today’s offering is not in the same class as the previous three, the run had to come to an end sometime. Most of the day was rather cloudy, only clearing up late in the afternoon as we were out on our walk. We were retracing, albeit the opposite way, some of the route I ran this morning.
The clearing skies provided a fine sunset and golden light which illuminated the hedges and trees along the Pilgrims Way at the foot of the North Downs as today’s blip shows.
One big of good news from the USA was that Landon was back in daycare having been self isolating with his mum and sad for two weeks following one of his class testing positive. Fortunately, neither him or his mum or dad developed any symptoms.
Other news from the US has been very slow although it does seem that Joe Biden is edging towards victory while Trump gets more belligerent and extreme as his chance of re-election slip away. I don’t think the highest office in the country has ever been brought into disrepute so disgracefully as by the hopefully outgoing incumbent.
