Diospyeos kaki, the Oriental persimmon, has beautiful waxy autumn foliage. Hail damage from the terrible storm in August still visible. Sadly all the fruits fell off but at least tree has survived.
Sad news on the heating front. Our plumber has got the virus. He was here two weeks ago getting the wood pellet boiler into the house. There are now nine cases in our little district.
Stefano got a spare wheel for the Duster sorted. He even found a matching used tyre. What a star. It did take four or five trips to the garage but he came good in the end as he always does. €67.
The broccoli is all coming good at the same time, along with the cauliflower and chicory. It’s a generous land alright.
