Not To Be...

Raced away from work to go to a kayak session on the River Tay at Broughty Ferry.
Despite the water looking benign when I arrived, it quickly began to change.
We sat for a while and contemplated.
I felt pretty apprehensive as I watched the water.
The decision was taken that it was too risky.
We had a safety session on the beach.
Disappointed and relieved at the same time.
