A walk down memory lane
A day of exploration found me wandering in to the depths of my old camera bag.
Things I have forgotten how to use, things I had forgotten I still owned.
Minolta SLR, my first "real" camera when I got in to photography in my teens. I treated myself to a Tamron lense for it! I remember I swore I'd never move from film.
The teeny point and shoot my sister kindly bought me one year and I reluctantly and begrudgingly used. It started my blip story with me but died a death.
The first Lumix bridge camera, stolen from a taxi on a night out.
The replacement I forgot I still had.
I moved on to my mum's old Canon 30D one Christmas as she was upgrading and I had made joyful noises every time the shutter clicked when I borrowed it. I think it was only supposed to be a loan but then I bought her old 7D from her when she upgraded that.
The little blue Lumix, a godsend on my wild swimming trips and on clumsy hand days.
Feeling quite nostalgic and desperately wanting to take some photos as I have let this side of my life slide in the last several years. As I mentioned to G that I was keeping it all as I'd remembered how much I used to love photography, he made the crazy outlandish suggestion that I restart that thing where I take photos. The boy has some smart ideas sometimes!
So here I am, restarting on a phone photo but hopefully moving to some camera shots too. I only stopped the most recent time because I needed to edit out some work things from a shot and didn't get it from my phone to my computer!
