Guess Where!

It’s amazing how one small event can make the world seem normal again. I met a school friend in the Ivy on the Square for breakfast and a long chat this morning; attentive and liveried waiters and as much coffee as we wanted without indulging in hyperactive dancing on the tables made for a relaxed two hours. Only when the staff started setting the adjoining tables for lunch did we feel we had to move.

After a misty autumnal start the day blossomed to sunshine and blue skies and it was a delight to walk round the Marches in the afternoon, even if the rest of the world seemed to have the same idea.

My blip is today’s enigma - can any Edinburgher guess what or where this structure is to be found? Answers on a post card please (as they say) to the Dower House- there is no cash prize.
