B****y birds!

Our thermal solar panels (for heating water) had not been performing well for a while. So I called in The Small Solar Company (I highly recommend them) to have a look. After careful investigation and diagnosis, Christoph reckoned the system was in good order, except for the temperature sensor on one panel  which tells the system when to start running (i.e. when the panels are hot enough).

Christoph couldn't get to the panel throught the roof tiles, so he laddered up to the roof (easier said than done) and took this photo. All fixed now.

Now I'm not accusing any bird in particular, but we do have a couple of crows that hang around  a lot ...
