Quince jelly ?

Have got three quince bushes in the garden, lots of quinces every year. I tried to make quince jelly last year but they were so hard I failed miserably. Have left them a bit longer this year so will have another try. Fingers crossed, would be good to have some quince jelly for Christmas.
