Really pleased with this result. Better colours than the last one I made in the summer. Birthday girl was very happy too!

Martin accidentally broke our kettle today, so he had to go into town to get a new one. He wasn’t having a particularly good day, and the kettle breaking was the last thing he needed. He needed to run an errand in town, so had a reason to go in anyway. He’s replaced it with an awesome kettle, we’re all pleased.

Made another cake in the afternoon for a friend who’s getting married soon in Italy. She’s leaving tomorrow, so today was her impromptu bridal shower. Photo of cake is attached.
