Kina

A beautiful day with no wind and almost cloudless blue skies in Orkney today so I spent a while trying to get a picture of a pattern.... The pictures of my kilt didn't work so I looked to the beach and the sea for inspiration.

Unusually I found this complete sea urchin (kina) lying on the sand and liked its shape and the pattern on it. There were a couple of other bits of urchin too... This is the best of the bunch today, pattern, but different :-)
