house moving day

A lorry arrived first thing this morning to remove the builder's hut from the site.  Another sign that things are slowly coming to an end.  The hut has been there at least 2 years.

The skill involved is amazing - Anniemay and I watch from an upstairs window as the driver lifts the thing in one piece over a wall and on to the lorry. 

That was the easy bit.  The road at the entrance to the site is narrow and one-way only.  There's no room to turn round, so he not only has to reverse off the site, but then reverse all the way back up the narrow street and into the town.  Amazing.  See extras.
