Social Distancing

Lockdown 2, Day 1

I had a very lazy start to the day, which I needed but then made up for it by walking almost 6 miles.  I walked the boys separately, as it's much easier and more enjoyable when they're on their own, so took Milou out first and when we got back Alan was due to take his lunch hour, and as it was such a lovely day we went for a walk across the fields

We actually went in search of pigs as I'd heard there were pigs on the Tye now, but we didn't find any.  However the Llamas were at the top of the field,so I was able to get pretty close to them, they're used to people as the public right of way goes through their field.  I don't get too close in case they spit at me, although I was close enough to get a selfie which I've put in my extras - it's not the best photo as I couldn't see what I was taking because of the sun, but it was fun. I liked how they were social distancing from each other too!

When we got back, I took Bobbie for his walk, and we went down to the beach.  It was so still and warm again that we went and sat on the beach for a little while, I could have sat there for ages but Bobbie got bored so we set off home.  When I got back I put the little fire on in the Palace and had a couple of hours in there before dinner.  Unfortunately, people started letter off fireworks which made the boys very jumpy.
