I forgot to talk about pot yesterday. Five states had marijuana-related measures on their ballot. It looks like most of them made recreational use legal. 
 
I got to meet the head of Charity Water. They've installed over 50,000 water systems around the world. He's working on internet-connected sensors to let mechanics know when the system is broken. They connect to a cellular tower and upload data daily. 

Now he's working on including predictive algorithms so that not only will the sensor notify when water is no longer flowing - it can notify the mechanic that something is going wrong and ideally maintenance can be performed before it actually breaks. 

He needs investment, but you can see how this could help dramatically make the world a better place.
