My name on the rose

For my birthday last month my wife gave me a rose bush .

Not just any rose but a variety that has been named “Boyd”.

Boyd is derived from the Gaelic for yellow so we are hoping that the buds, once they open up, will see that colour dominate.

In any event these November buds glistened in the sunshine as. I took a break from hours of shifting soil in the garden. It was such a nice day that shorts and T shirt were worn.
