Sparkler fun

I found some sparklers tucked away in a drawer and wondered if they would still light. And yes they did! We had a bit of fun with them and reminisced about parkin, treacle toffee, putting fireworks in a tin with a lid, and wearing trousers over boots! Ah those were the days. Anyone younger than me will wonder what on earth I am talking about1 And I still think sparklers give the most fun!
And above all we didn't think of the shambles in The States, or the shambles back here!
