Dead rat

On the driveway down to the new gate that has been fitted is this rat. It has been there for nearly a week and yesterday the flies began to buzz around it. I was quite surprised that no fox had discovered it but I guess it will be there till it has disintegrated! A fascinating natural history lesson! The bath has been fitted in the new bathroom and the tiles were picked up today and there are more than we had counted on so more wall can be covered. All going in the right direction!
