I'm really chuffed with this image

I can't explain why, it just makes me happy.

I met Jorgiesmum for a riverside bimble this morning, in search of the elusive kingfishers. Three sightings but not sure where it hangs out to fish, at least it's on this stretch of the river. A cormorant was hanging out by the weir. We continued, doing a loop of just under 5miles. Plenty of fungi, fab autumn colours provided by the leaves & berries. The Japanese Knotweed looked stunning, but really should NOT be there. Glorious sunshine. We met at 10am, got home about 1.30pm. No kingfisher pics, but sightings. :-), the rest is up to J. No pressure!!
